Bunbury Community Safety Survey and Focus Groups

The City of Bunbury is currently in the process of creating a 5 year Community Safety and Crime Prevention plan. To inform this process and ensure the priorities and objectives are accurate we are currently engaging with the community to identify the perceptions and concerns related to issues of crime and safety. As an important member of our community (living, working, playing), your insights will be invaluable and could positively inform the City’s decisions when managing Community Safety over the next 5 years.

I have attached our flyer as well with the QR code for an easy link to our Community Connect page with lots of additional information for you. We are excited to hear from everyone on your perceptions and concerns!

We are currently using 2 methods to engage.
The first is a simple survey that is designed to identify the concerns of both residents and business owners/workers. This can be accessed here: https://eaecu.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5uSOpmi7APg5sfI

The second is a series of solution focussed workshops (focus groups) being held on 31 March and 5 April, designed to draw down a little deeper on the issues and identify potential solutions. These will be facilitated 1 hour workshops and we aim to host community members, business owners, youth and the elderly in separate targeted sessions hosted by the City and facilitated by ECU. We will also provide a free coffee voucher for participants and subway platter at each session. Registration for these is available here: https://eaecu.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1XDRZaA4RAohfpQ
